The Fortnight

Rod Laver Arena runs a day session from 11:00 and a night session from 19:00 through most of the tournament. The women's final is on Saturday night and the men's final on Sunday night.

Questions we get asked

Is Field Trip an official agent or partner of any tournament, league or governing body?

No. Field Trip is an independent South African sports travel operator. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official agent of any tournament, league, club, union or governing body. We source match tickets and hospitality through licensed trade suppliers and debenture holders, and we show you the ticket category and the delivery method before you pay.

Are your prices in Rand, and are they per person?

Yes. Every price on the site is per person in South African Rand, based on two people sharing unless it is marked single. Quotes are held against a published exchange rate until the date shown on your quote, and may be re-quoted if rates move materially before you pay.

How much deposit do I pay, and when is the balance due?

A 30% deposit secures your package and the balance is due eight weeks before departure. Match tickets are bought immediately and are non-refundable once issued. Hotel rooms can be cancelled free of charge until the hotel's own deadline, which we print on your quote.

How and when do I get my tickets?

Tickets are sent about 1 to 3 days before the event, by email, together with your hotel voucher if you have booked a stay. Depending on the event they come as an e-ticket, a transfer into the organiser's own app, or collection in person, and we send clear instructions either way. A few events release earlier, and the event page says so. Organisers release tickets close to the event to stop touting, which is why they don't arrive when you book. Tickets are issued in traveller names, so the names on your booking must match passports. Name changes are usually possible up to two weeks before the event.

Are my tickets guaranteed?

Yes. Every ticket we sell is a valid ticket for the event you booked, in the category you booked or better. Seats are together unless the category says otherwise. If an event is postponed, your tickets stay valid for the new date and we move your hotel booking to match. If an event is cancelled with no new date, the ticket portion is refunded or credited towards another event, as the organiser and our supplier allow. Once issued, tickets can't be changed, cancelled or refunded.
